Why Two Times?

Traditional clocks conflate two distinct concepts: duration (how long something takes) and solar position (where we are in Earth's rotation). This is a category error.

The Hydrogen-Anchored Duration Scale measures pure elapsed time using the hydrogen emission frequency (1,420,405,751.768 Hz) as its fundamental unit. Every duration level is a power of 10 in hydrogen oscillations, giving a universal, physics-based timescale independent of any planet.

The Solar Clock tracks Earth's rotational position, the thing we actually need for scheduling, navigation, and daily life. Separating these two resolves centuries of confusion between "how long" and "what position."
